Ann Coulter Promises to Track Down and DROWN Libertarians

34

Republican pundits like Ann Coulter are livid that so many people have recently been considering the third option of libertarianism.  Both Liberals and Conservatives are constantly attempting to convince libertarians to choose “the lesser of two evils”, and vote for the authoritarian of their choice

Coulter for example, wrote in a new column thatFor the next six weeks, nothing matters more to the country than Republicans taking a majority in the Senate, when it comes to politics, conservatives need to learn one thing from liberals: All that matters is winning.”

“The biggest current danger for Republicans is that idiots will vote for Libertarian candidates in do-or-die Senate elections, including Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and Colorado,” she wrote. “Democratic candidates don’t have to put up with this crap — they’re even trying to dump the official Democrat in Kansas to give the stealth Democrat a better shot.”

“When we’re all dying from lack of health care across the United States of Mexico, we’ll be deeply impressed with your integrity, libertarians……Which brings me to my final assignment this week: If you are considering voting for the Libertarian candidate in any Senate election, please send me your name and address so I can track you down and drown you,” she added.

Last year, Coulter was booed by a full room of college students after saying that libertarians are “pussies”.

Your opinion, “the lesser of two evils”, is the main reason I no longer consider myself a republican, your version of less government is just simply corrupt government. I’m interested in neither. I’m sure you’ll fail to gain your majority, maybe try a different platform? Or actually appealing to your voters. Being bought and paid for by the party just makes you a silly whore.

  • Tubored

Her threatening words have frightened me. Under our laws, she could now be considered a terrorist since she has made an actionable threat of politically motivated violence. Drone inc!

    • John

Every libertarian who reads this article should make a phone call to the FBI and Homeland security to report suspicious, terrorist behavior and flood they’re phones with reports. We’re told “see something, say something…” well this definitely qualifies as something.

      • John

        *Their, I’m sleepy.

  • drownme

This just in… ugly, deathly looking woman says controversial things to get attention. No one takes this woman seriously, and if they do, they are not taken seriously.

  • Rachael Chapman

Wow! I believe the word terrorist is thrown around way too lightly these days but if a domestic terrorist does exist..it’s this woman right here! She publicly administers death threats to all of those that don’t fit into her bigoted political agenda? If any of us commenting on here did the same we would be shot where we stand or detained indefinitely….

  • Trevor Eric Godfrey

    Dear Ann Coulter,

In response to your request for the addreses of Libertarians so you may drown them:

    2020 E Inverness Ave
    Mesa, AZ 85204

    Come at me.

    Sincerely,
    TG

  • Martin Mullikin

Ann dumbass Coulter, it’s people like you with your shenanigans who are creating more libertarians. People are catching on that our lives and liberties are just one political game to both major parties, and we want none of it. This article makes me happy, it shows that libertarians are gaining enough traction to scare the living shit out of the republicrats. Bravo, fellow Libertarians.

  • Scott Bieser

She’s the best recruiter to the Libertarian Party ever.

  • Scott Bieser

She’s supposedly friends with John Stossel, who claims to be a libertarian (although I don’t know how he votes). I wonder what he has to say about this?

  • Jon Polozeck

Maybe she would like come and call me a pussy. That would be interesting.

  • AngryMonk

If she’d like to visit me, she’s more than welcome. I’ll even fill the tub with water. I don’t own a pool as I live in an apartment.

  • Jeff Mcleroy

I like her, but she is wrong here. Republicans are failing when they have the power. GRANTED Democrats and there followers have TRULY drank the kool aid!!! Democrats get away with so much crap that Repubs do not, that is makes me want to vote Repub. But Im a Libertarian now, and that is how I vote. Its a throw away vote if you vote for “the lesser of two evils”

  • pyrodice

Give me hers so I can send her mine. A little waterboarding practice might turn out to be mutually beneficial.

  • conspiracygirl

How is drowning libertarians going to improve the GOP’s vote count…? If libertarians vote for a Large L Libertarian, or stay home, or get drowned by Ann Coulter, it’s all the same.

  • Dave Jones

You know she’s just a cunt. Fuck you, Coulter.

  • Steven Bannister

I’m a proud libertarian – BUT she’s right in a way. As bad as many Republicans are, Democrats are often WORSE (depending on the individual candidate of course) and a winning election for Democrats will be interpreted as a mandate to increase state power.

Yes, I understand the folly of voting for the “lesser of two evils” – but in those elections where 1) the vote is CLOSE 2) the Republican candidate is LESS statist than the Democrat candidate and 3) no Libertarian candidate is “high in the polls”, libertarians should hold their nose and vote for the Republican candidates (and continue to push them in a libertarian direction should they win the election and take office)

Furthermore – any Republican, Democrat or Libertarian who endorses “open borders” or Amnesty in any way, shape or form should be driven out of town with pitchforks – and yes, I say that as a LIBERTARIAN. America already has the most generous immigration policy in the world – in fact, we accept more legal immigrants every single year than THE REST OF THE WORLD COMBINED! But – if we allow millions of poor, third world workers (and NON-workers) to simply pour into the United States (with it’s current generous welfare system and a Democrat stranglehold on it’s large cities) our constitutional republic will be utterly DESTROYED within 10 years tops.

Yes, many libertarians pride themselves on being “tolerant” and “inclusive” but libertarians should not kid themselves – liberty will NOT be sustainable with rapid, massive demographic change (and that appears to be EXACTLY what the globalists want!) It’s okay to be libertarian AND be in favor of secure borders.

    • Don Kasbohm

Disagree with the first half of your comment, but TOTALLY agree with the second half!

      • Steven Bannister

That’s fine, we can agree to disagree. But just remember that we are playing for very big stakes here – the Democrats are CLEARLY a statist party with a long term statist agenda. The Republican establishment is statist as well- but at least their rank and file membership are mostly non-statist conservatives (traditional paleocons, not neocons) who WANT some form of limited government. That cannot be said of the Democrat rank-and-file.

The corrupt Democrat power structure controls the major U.S. cities and as the Obama administration has shown, Democrats are not above using racial politics to achieve their statist goals. When the ethnic balance of the United States shifts to non-white, I GUARANTEE you that the Democratic voting base will swell along with it – because Democrats will appeal to the newcomers on the basis of group identity (“those evil conservatives and libertarians are trying to take away health care from PEOPLE OF COLOR!”) The Left has been doing this for many, many years and we are now finally seeing the fruits of this very effective strategy.

Like most libertarians, I judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. BUT – in a future multicultural American driven by ethnic politics, that kind of principled, “colorblind” approach won’t make a damn bit of difference. The sad reality is that when white America goes, it’s tradition of limited government will go along with it. Watch and see.

        • Todd Fries

Old discussion , but I had to put in my 3 cents… Fellas , the Democrats ARE the Republicans , it’s Pepsi VS Coke , it’s a con , a sham , the oldest shell game in the book ( two party system). It ensures eventual tyranny. It was once said that there’s not a dimes worth of difference between the two parties , I say how about a half cent ?
I sit and watch the republicans wringing their hands over lame duck issues like abortion , obamacare , and various bullshit while I ask , Who among them is saying that the patriot act and NDAA need to be scrapped post fucking haste ! along with DHS , TSA , NSA , IRS and any other fed thug agency that has gotten big balls since the fake war on terror began. Then and only then can we start to be honest with ourselves and admit that there is some serious bullshit being perpetrated upon the world via NATO at the behest of a filthy and vile group of men who control the puppet strings of the whole world. It sickens me that .001% of the worlds population controls the destiny of the rest ,and if you call yourself a libertarian then you better get serious and educate yourself , this is reality not a conspiracy and it’s fact , not a damn theory.
The only thing that matters is freedom , after that you better be ready and able to defend that freedom with your brain first , then if all else fails , the battle rifle. If one is unwilling to do either one , then may your chains rest heavily upon you.

death to the new world order. Have a swell day

    • Tim O’Neil

Your arguments show that you are not truly a libertarian.

      • Steven Bannister

Not at all. I am both a libertarian AND a political realist. If you were dying of cancer and the only treatment you could afford was through Obamacare, are you telling me that you’d let yourself DIE so you could remain a principled libertarian? No, you’d probably accept the free care and then continue to advocate a more effective, free market health care solution.

This upcoming election, our republic is in a fight for it’s very survival. If voting libertarian helps put more libertarians in office, that’s great! But if voting libertarian puts more Democrats in office, not so great. Sometimes we need to pick and choose our battles. Philosophy is one thing, strategy is another.

  • pootietang

Sorry but I’m in love with this woman. She is the Ric Flair of political news talk! She’s a real life wrastlin heel! I don’t think she believes half of what she says, but she’s so good at hyperbole and trolling I can’t help but love her. I will definitely send her my address so she can drown me.

  • nestofsalt

In Virginia, the Libertarian candidate pulled about 2-1 from the Democrat- so we can have our cake and eat it too. Waiting for Ann’s quarterly Senator McCarthy was a great guy column.

  • ted

David Koch was a Libertarian Vice-Presidential candidate in 1980 who along with his brother now gives the “Supreme” Court, Teabaggers and GOP their marching orders. He advocated the abolition of Social Security, the FBI, the CIA, and public schools. So get to killing you whacked out bitch!

  • Ross Taylor

Let’s see how committed she is to drowning libertarians. She can email me and get my address in South London, UK.

    Idiot.

    • Steven Bannister

Well, she ISN’T committed to drowning Libertarians of course, because she was using HYPERBOLE- not speaking literally! I don’t always agree with her – but Ann Coulter is a smart, funny, abrasive conservative who occasionally says outrageous things just to make a point. Bill Maher does the exact same thing as does Dennis Miller (she is friends with both) but Ann Coulter is often singled out for this. Why? Frankly, I think it’s because she’s a woman – and you’ll notice how many people refer to her as a “bitch” and “cunt” (as Dave Jones does in his comment above.)

  • James Peters

    Dear Ann,
I am a conservative republican who agrees with you, Libertarians are bad for politics. As for you, I am madly in love with you and enjoy your Kindle books. Like you, I am a college grad. I am an academic collegiate titan and phi theta kappan. Let’s have many blond haired, gorgeous, blue eyed children together. Write me at imalia@msn.com for details and I’ll tell you more. Thanks. Once again, congratulations regarding Libertarians…good call. Love you.. forever. XOXOX.

  • Rachel Mills

I am Libertarian Sean Haugh’s Senate campaign manager in North Carolina, formerly Ron Paul’s press secretary on Capitol Hill.

All that matters is winning? It actually matters what you win for who and why. When Republicans start giving us better things than the prescription drug benefit, No Child Left Behind and endless economy breaking wars when they win, then…. maybe helping them win will matter more to me. And if winning *really* mattered to them, (and they were politically smarter) they would find a better strategy to do it than insulting all libertarians, threatening them with physical violence and deliberately misunderstanding their guiding principles.

  • Rick

She is so arrogant, to think that all Libertarian minded people would be voting Republican if they were not voting Lib.
I know very close people that have moved from the democrat party into the Libertarian party.

People like her drive me goddamn bananas. I’m not a Libertarian because I’m trying to hurt the Republicans. “Her kind” like to blame us for Romney losing in ’12. Nope. It was Romney’s fault.
Stop assuming we’re pissed off Republicans. We’re not, that tea partiers.
    We’re Libertarians. Plain and simple.

  • Socrates Wilde

Hey, Ann, I wish I could vote for a Libertarian senate candidate, but I live in California where the Republicans and Democrats gave us a top two open primary, destroying all the alternative parties. The reason the Republican are so scared is that they now realize fewer people are buying their BS.

  • steve h.

Ann Coultor is a beautiful woman, but she has diarrhea of the mouth and lack of brain matter. Remember Tokyo Rose during the war, Ann is the present day traitor to her own country. True Tea Party wing nut!

  • Maphesdus

Anyone who’s ever listened to Ann Coulter for any length of time, even briefly, can clearly see that she’s nothing but a pure fascist. People like her are why the GOP isn’t taken seriously.

  • Kevin Alfred Strom

Degree of statism is an important but secondary point. More important is _whose_ state it is. Every people deserves its own state — Blacks, Palestinians, Amazonian Indians, and yes, even White Americans. On this most important issue Coulter is closer to the truth than Gary Johnson.
