Man Pulled Over for “Making Eye Contact” with Cop

A cop in Dayton, Ohio was caught on camera admitting that he pulled a man over for ‘making eye contact’.

The driver, John Felton, was in route to his mother’s house when the officer pulled him over.  As a precaution Felton recorded the encounter with his cell phone.

The officer claimed that he pulled Felton over for not signaling his turn 100 feet before the turn.  Felton did signal his turn just not soon enough according to the officer.

After Felton continued to question the cop’s reasoning for pulling him over, the officer said: ‘You made direct eye contact with me and held onto it when I was passing you.’

So apparently in the ‘land of the free’ making eye contact with a cop is a legitimate reason for them to detain you.
